Which Mac installer should I install?

If you own a Mac with an ARM processor please use the M1/M2 installer. If you own a Mac with an Intel processor please use the Intel installer. You can check the processor type by going to the Apple menu (top left) and selecting About This Mac. This opens an overview of your Mac, including your Mac model, processor, memory, serial number, and version of macOS.
